It’s all about the work for Ariana Grande and Big Sean.
So much so it cost them their relationship.
As we told you earlier today, the two music superstars have called it quit.
And now a source is telling E! News what happened.
“They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year,” the source said.
The two, who were first linked in August 2014, confirmed they split this morning. “They both care deeply for each other and remain close friends,” they said in a joint statement. “We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.”
Another source insists the breakup really is amicable.
“Ariana and Big Sean have had a great relationship and they are still very close friends and will remain in each others lives,” the source said. “It hasn’t been easy though with both of their busy schedules lately and they know its going to get even harder in the next few months. This was really difficult for them to publicly call it quits but they thought it would be better this way so people know there is no bad blood between them at all.”
Grande first acknowledged they were dating in October, telling Telegraph magazine that the rapper was “one of the most amazing men in the world, and that includes my grandfather and my brother.”

Grande dated The Wanted‘s Nathan Sykes, who recently revealed that his upcoming solo album would include a song about their breakup.
“It’s a very nice breakup song,” Sykes told in February. “I think if people are expecting me to throw shade…that’s not going to happen. I’m not that type of person. I’d like be known to be a very kindhearted person.” (source:E!news)
